*PRACTICES/GAMES/REHEARSALS
Monday – Vikings baseball practice after school.

Senior girls’ DH in Lethbridge at Softball Valley at 3:30 p.m. against
Chinook

Tuesday – Vikings home DH against McCoy at 5:00 p.m.
Senior girls’ DH in Taber at against St Mary’s.
Wednesday – Senior girls’ slo-pitch practice after school at Brewers
Thursday – Vikings away DH at Athletic Field against Eagle Butte at 5:00 p.m.
VAB home tournament. The Jets play the Lethbridge Elks at 7:00 p.m.
Friday – VAB home tournament. The Jets play Webber Academy at 7:00 p.m.
Saturday - VAB home tournament. The Jets play the Red Deer Braves at 1:00 p.m.

and they play AHP at 7:00 p.m.
There is a free BBQ from 3 to 5 P.M. at Jets Stadium

*All students in high school that are taking work experience, green certificate, or RAP. Mr.
Pritchard will be here on Wednesday, May 22, at lunchtime. If you are in work experience or
green certificate you must be at the meeting. Please bring in your contracts and your hours. The
meeting is in Mr. Reiling’s room, and it is mandatory to attend. You are being tracked for
meeting attendance for your marks and credits so please make sure you are there!
*Dual credit applications for the fall semester are due on Friday, May 24th. If you would like to
take a dual credit course, please complete the request link by May 24th. 
*Summer work credit. If you wish to acquire credits for summer employment, come to the May
22 meeting with Bryan. 
*Could students interested in helping to design the yearbook please meet in Mrs. Karmann’s room
Thursdays at FLEX.
*Could all students that are interested in bringing vehicles, or having parents bringing in a
vehicle, for the Car Show on May 29th please meet in Mr. Marzolf's classroom during flex
today.
*There will be a Student Council Meeting Tuesday at lunchtime in Miss Anton's classroom.
*Our Career Counselor, Mr. Mouland, will be here on Wednesdays. If you need any information
in regards to college, university, work study programs, entrance requirements, programs offered
and student loans, please let the office or a teacher know and we can book you an appointment
with Garth.

*Hungry, Need Breakfast – Every morning you can go to the foods room, using the door closest
to the lockers, from 8:05 until the start of school you can pick up some breakfast. Starting this
Thursday, we are having Bagel Thursdays for our breakfast program. Get your bagels! The
breakfast program started this morning and will continue each and every morning.
*HOT LUNCH on Wednesday will be a hot dog with mac and cheese. We are continuing with
our punch card or single card system. You must purchase a card for lunch. A single card can be
bought for $5.00, and a multi-card can be bought for $20.00 (4 lunches). The punch cards must
be purchased from the office ahead of time or they can be bought with an e-transfer to
vauxhallbaseball@gmail.com.
To pick up your hot lunch please go to the following rooms: 
Gr 7 – Miss Karmann
Gr 8 – Mr. Virginillo
Gr 9 – Mr. Marzolf
Gr 10 – Mrs. Finlayson
Gr 11 – Mr. Reiling
Gr 12 – Mrs. Schellenberg
*This year, if you need to purchase a cup of soup for lunch, please go to the office instead of the
corner store. This option is available Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday’s!
*We still have several basketball uniforms that have not been returned. If you still have yours,
please return it to the office ASAP!
*On May 25 th , there is a great opportunity for students interested in the field of aviation. It will
be held at the Lethbridge Airport from 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The event will include a Career
Fair/ Tradeshow, Aircraft Displays, Interactive Learning, Network Opportunities, Guest
Speakers and Food Trucks. Please look at the posters around the school and register using the
QR code.
*Career Transitions are excited to invite you to the Career Exploration Sessions for this school
year! Those interested in attending need to register in advance in order to receive a link to the
virtual event.
