*PRACTICES/GAMES/REHEARSALS
Monday – Vikings baseball practice after school.
Senior girls’ slo-pitch practice after school at Brewers
Tuesday – Vikings away game against McCoy at 5:30 p.m. in Med. Hat.
Wednesday – Girls’ slo-pitch game at Chinook high school at 3:30 p.m.
Thursday – Vikings practice in the gym after school.
Friday – The Vikings are in Okotoks for a D.H. against Holy Trinity.
*All students in high school that are taking work experience, green certificate, or RAP. Mr.
Pritchard will be here on Wednesday, May 15, at lunchtime. If you are in work experience or
green certificate you must be at the meeting. Please bring in your contracts and your hours. The
meeting is in Mr. Reiling’s room, and it is mandatory to attend. You are being tracked for
meeting attendance for your marks and credits so please make sure you are there!
*There is a meeting at Flex TODAY for the Song Committee for Grad in Mrs. Finlayson’s room.
*Could students interested in helping to design the yearbook please meet in Mrs. Karmann’s room
Thursdays at FLEX.
*There will be a Student Council Meeting Tuesday at lunchtime in Miss Anton's classroom.
*Our Career Counselor, Mr. Mouland, will be here on Wednesdays. If you need any information
in regards to college, university, work study programs, entrance requirements, programs offered
and student loans, please let the office or a teacher know and we can book you an appointment
with Garth.
*Hungry, Need Breakfast – Every morning you can go to the foods room, using the door closest
to the lockers, from 8:05 until the start of school you can pick up some breakfast. Starting this
Thursday we are having Bagel Thursdays for our breakfast program. Get your bagels! The
breakfast program started this morning and will continue each and every morning.
*The Grade 8 Drama class has been practicing a skit they would like to present to the school
during FLEX on Thursday May 2nd. They will start shortly after Thursday check-in, so
11:30am. It is about 15 minutes.
*HOT LUNCH on Wednesday will be a ham and cheese croissant with a cookie. We are
continuing with our punch card or single card system. You must purchase a card for lunch. A
single card can be bought for $5.00, and a multi-card can be bought for $20.00 (4 lunches). The
punch cards must be purchased from the office ahead of time or they can be bought with an e-
transfer to vauxhallbaseball@gmail.com.

*This year, if you need to purchase a cup of soup for lunch, please go to the office instead of the
corner store. This option is available Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday’s!
*We still have several basketball uniforms that have not been returned. If you still have yours,
please return it to the office ASAP!
*Career Transitions are excited to invite you to the Career Exploration Sessions for this school
year! Those interested in attending need to register in advance in order to receive a link to the
virtual event.
