Mr. Rob Virginillo
Social Studies 7 & 8, CTS Business Courses, CTF (JH Computers), and Outdoor Education Teacher
My name is Rob Virginillo and I have been teaching at Vauxhall High School for the past 19 years. I grew up in Lethbridge and went to the University of Lethbridge for both of my degrees. My first degree BMgt - Marketing and my second, BEd - Career and Technology Studies.
I am married and have two children, Alessandro and Izabella. My wife Pia is also a teacher and she inspires me to keep working hard to become a better teacher.
At VHS I teach Social Studies 7 & 8, Junior High Computer (CTF) classes, Outdoor Education for JH and HS CTS option courses. The CTS options classes include CTS Business Courses such as Communication Technology, Information Processing, Legal Studies, Financial Management, Enterprise and Innovation and Marketing and Management.
Outside of teaching, I coach the Vikings Baseball team who have won 5 Championships in the 15 plus years that I have coached, the last being the Tier 1 Championship in 2017. I took a year off from coaching and that I would retire but I came back in 2019.
If I have time I enjoy golfing but don't always get to play as much as I would like.
