About
Vauxhall Junior Senior High School is located in Vauxhall, Alberta. We are a small school with approximately 200 students in a small town of about 1,300 people. But size isn't all that matters!
Introduction
Vauxhall High School believes that education is a lifelong pursuit!
VHS was recently renovated and upgraded including the Home Ec. and Shop classrooms, the gymnasium, the front offices, our two computer labs, the library and the main student gathering area, just to name a few. The outdoor areas also received a refresh with an outdoor basketball court and beach volleyball court being added along with simple and beautiful landscaping around the whole building. The school also houses a dorm where 22 boys live while attending the Vauxhall Academy of Baseball. They take regular classes at the high school but also have world-class baseball coaches and training. For more information of the Vauxhall Academy of Baseball check out their website vauxhallbaseball.com Their dorm "mom and dad" provide breakfast food for them in the dorm and a commercial kitchen serves them lunch and supper every day. All students of VHS get the benefit of the commercial kitchen in that once a week they can purchase a hot lunch for only $5. Lunches like chicken fingers and fries or caesar salad, taco in a bag, beef on a (homemade) bun and many more delicious choices.
