*PRACTICES/GAMES/REHEARSALS

Monday – Vikings may play today in league semi-finals.  Game decision, and time, will be made by 10:00 a.m. today.

 

Tuesday – *Senior girls’ slo-pitch home make-up game against Kate Andrews will be at Brewers field at 5:00 p.m.

Wednesday – The Vikings are hosting Cardston in the Tier 2 boys championship game at 6:00 p.m.

*The Jets are playing in the annual TCMM game against the Lethbridge Bulls at Spitz stadium in Lethbridge.  The first pitch is at 6:35 p.m.

 

Thursday – *Senior girls’ league final tournament in Lethbridge

Friday –    

 

*There is a student council meeting today at lunchtime in Mr. Virginillo’s classroom.

 

*For the rest of the week the student council will have stars that you can sign with your names.  They will be hung up at the Hollywood themed prom/dance for decorations.  Remember that the dress is semi-formal.

 

*The Spring Prom will be taking place on Friday, June 2nd from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m.  You may invite other students as long as they are in junior or senior high school, and they are in ‘good standing’ at their respective schools.  You will need to sign them up at the office in order for them to participate.  The cost of the dance is $10.00.

 

*There will be a Travel Club Meeting to begin planning the Easter 2025 trip this Wednesday @ lunch in Mr. Schellenberg's Room. Any interested Grades 9 or 10's should come out! :)

 

*All students in high school that are taking work experience.  Heather will be here for a meeting today, at lunchtime, in Mr. Reiling’s classroom.  Also, green certificate and RAP students make sure you touch base with Heather during lunchtime.  You are being tracked for meeting attendance for your marks and credits so please make sure you are there!  

 

*Our Career Counselor, Mr. Mouland, will be here on Wednesday.  If you need any information in regards to college, university, work study programs, entrance requirements, programs offered and student loans, please let the office or a teacher know and we can book you an appointment with Garth.

 

*Hungry, Need Breakfast – Every morning you can go to the foods room, using the door closest to the lockers, from 8:05 until the start of school you can pick up some breakfast.  

 

*HOT LUNCH is on Wednesday -You must sign-up at the office. We are continuing with our punch card or single card system.  You must purchase a card for lunch.  A single card can be bought for $5.00, and a multi-card can be bought for $20.00 (4 lunches).  The punch cards must be purchased from the office ahead of time or they can be bought with an e-transfer to vauxhallbaseball@gmail.com. This Wednesday’s hot lunch will be taco in a bag.

 

To pick up your hot lunch please go to the following rooms: 

Gr 7 – Mrs. Gejdos

Gr 8 - Mr Reiling

Gr 9 - Miss Karmann

Gr 10 - Mr Virginillo 

Gr 11 - Mrs Finlayson

Gr 12 - Mrs Schellenberg 

 

*The corner store is open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday’s!  It is open for only 10 minutes from 11:55 to 12:05 p.m.  There are: pizza pops, mini pizzas and cup a soups.

 

*If you haven’t returned them to your coaches, please return your basketball uniforms to the office.

 

*Career Transitions are excited to invite you to the Career Exploration Sessions for this school year! Those interested in attending need to register in advance in order to receive a link to the virtual event.
