*PRACTICES/GAMES/REHEARSALS
Monday – There is Junior High girls’ basketball practice after school.
The senior girls’ volleyball team have practice afterschool at V.E.S.
The SV boys’ basketball team has practice at 7:00 p.m.
There is drama practice from 3:30-4:30 on the stage after school.
Tuesday – Queens Volleyball practice after school.
There is drama practice from 3:30-4:30 on the stage after school.
There is also an optional practice, because of road conditions, for the JV
boys’ basketball team in Lomond at 5:00 pm.
Wednesday – The SV boys’ basketball team has practice at 7:00 p.m.
Thursday – Tier II boys’ basketball practice after school.
J.V. Boys basketball practice in Lomond at 5:00 p.m.
Friday - The SV boys’ basketball team has practice at 5:30 p.m.
*Just a reminder that the Online school fundraiser/Auction runs until the 25 th at 8:00 p.m.
*All students in high school that are taking work experience, green certificate, or RAP. Mr.
Pritchard will be here on Wednesday at lunchtime. The meeting is in Mr. Reiling’s room, and it
is mandatory to attend. You are being tracked for meeting attendance for your marks and credits
so please make sure you are there!
*Our Career Counselor, Mr. Mouland, will be here on Wednesdays. If you need any information
in regards to college, university, work study programs, entrance requirements, programs offered
and student loans, please let the office or a teacher know and we can book you an appointment
with Garth.
*It is Shoebox time!! Get into the Christmas spirit by filling a shoebox for a needy child
overseas. Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes are available in the common area. Feel free to
take a box and return it to the school office by Wednesday December 11. Thank you for your
generosity!
*There is a student council meeting at lunchtime on Tuesday in Mrs. Astalos' room.
*We've extended the deadline! The Clubbers Advisory group is organizing a food drive and we
need you to bring in non-perishable food items. The deadline has been extended to next
Wednesday, November 27th!! All non-perishable food items should be dropped off with your
advisory leader. The advisory sculpture building contest will take place on the 27 th as well.
*There is a Misogi Monday meeting Monday at lunch time in Mr. Bowden's room.
*Just a reminder that if you’d like to purchase a 2023/2024 yearbook, please let the office know.
Also, if you have purchased a 2024/2025 yearbook, they are available for pick-up at the office.
There are also some copies available for purchase.
*Grade 12 students, Jostens will be at the School on Thursday, December 5 th during lunch. If
you wish to order a grad ring and/or apparel, please stop by their booth.
*Hungry, Need Breakfast –the breakfast program is back on for this school year. Every
morning, from 8:05 a.m. to the start of class, you can go into the foods room and grab some
breakfast. We are continuing with bagel Thursday.
*HOT LUNCH on Wednesday will be a ham and cheese croissant with a rice crispy square.
We are continuing with our punch card or single card system. You must purchase a card for
lunch. A single card can be bought for $5.00, and a multi-card can be bought for $20.00 (4
lunches). The punch cards must be purchased from the office ahead of time or they can be
bought with an e-transfer to vauxhallbaseball@gmail.com.

*This year, if you need to purchase a cup of soup for lunch, please go to the office instead of the
corner store. This option is available Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday’s!
*Career Transitions are excited to invite you to the Career Exploration Sessions for this school
year! Those interested in attending need to register in advance in order to receive a link to the
virtual event.
